The Countdown Begins!
It's Official! There are only 62 days until the new Pearl Jam album, Pearl Jam [artwork above], hits stores AND my CD player for about a solid two months. The new album is their 8th studio album and first since 2003's Riot Act . The full track listing is not yet known, but the new single "Worldwide Suicide" will be released next week. Radio stations (and myself) have already recieved a digital :15 preview of the track. The song seems to be consistant with what the band has been saying about the album during the recording sessions; it sounds pretty darn rockin' and a bit of a throwback to Vs. -era material. But, of course, this is all based on fifteen seconds of the chorus that (according to many reports) may only be the left channel of the mix.
